International Colleges?

What would i need as an American, looking for top colleges in UK, Switzerland, and any other european colleges which offer good international relations/languages program?
I only speak english, but i heard switzerland schools teach their courses in english.
Also I have around a 3,6 gpa, and not that good sat score- but taking it again to improve-, but a large amount of extracurriculars, and a vastly improving grade trend( i didn't do too well in freshman year).
The only college in Europe so far that I'm applying to is st andrews, scotland, because they offer the common app

Swiss unis teach in German, mostly. Where are you applying from?

If you don’t speak German forget about Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
Getting into UK colleges is really hard, because it’s the most popular destination for European students and most of them want to study there.
the SAT is required just for American universities in Europe, but it doesn’t need to be really high. 1500+ is usually more than enough.
You can check out Jacobs Uni in Germany. It’s quite a nice place and offers good education.

In addition to the posts above, allow me to add that EC’s don’t really matter at all for being accepted to European universities. It’s unfortunate but true. They really only look at academics (transcripts, standardized test scores, and to a certain extent your personal statement which is expected to explain why you want to study the subject you are applying for).

Onemoreparent that’s kinda true, but there are some universities which do care about EC’s.
