international fin aid appeal

<p>As an international, do I have any chance of getting a higher fin aid package than I was originally awarded at non-need-blind schools (esp Bryn Mawr and Mt Holyoke), e.g. if some numbers were misinterpreted?</p>

<p>I just did a calculation and found out that my family only has about $200 a month more than level of social assistance (for a 7 people household). Colleges cannot seriously expect my family to contribute $13,000 a year, can they?</p>

<p>Colleges do not expect 100% of your expenses to be met by current income. They expect some of it to come from assets.</p>
