May I know what is the general financial aid package like for international students at GWU? Is it very hard to receive aid as an international student?</p>
<p>Can admitted international students please share with us what was ur FA package like?</p>
<p>I only know one international student receiving financial aid, and it’s from an anti-genocide activism student organization (the student is from Darfur), not from GWU.</p>
<p>I’m sure that there could be a few international students with merit scholarships, but as far as I know, international students aren’t eligible for need-based financial aid (other than private loans).</p>
<p>I know several international students who didn’t pay one dime for their degree.
But, I believe they received grant money from their native countries and/or educational system. I can ask around.</p>
<p>As a native, I didn’t receive one damn dime in GW financial aid.</p>
