International Relations + Econ?

Hey y'all, I'm a going to be senior and am interested in double majoring in IR and Econ, or at least majoring in one with a focus in the other. I've got quite good stats: 35 ACT, 2200 SAT (1500 without Writing), 4.00 UGPA, ranked 1 or 2 right now in a class of 520 at a public school that is well-respected (...for some reason). My extracurriculars are good, my leadership positions are more or less non-existent and my volunteer work isn't great either. I'm pretty open to suggestions other than Harvard/Yale/Princeton (man, I must sound egotistical right now. I promise, I'm not).

I was thinking Northwestern (I live around Chicago) before I got very interested in IR, and I haven't been able to find any rankings on their program since then. Anyone know much about it?

Outside of that, Georgetown, Columbia, NYU, GW, and American all interest me, and I'd like to hear what other people have to say. Help?

I'm not sure about IR but I know that UChicago has a top notch Econ program.

research majors available at the universities that intrest you at college board or princeton review.
