International Relations for JHU

I heard that JHU is one of the top schools for IR.
I want to major in IR and eventually work in the UN and
I want to know the profile(?) you need to get into JHU.

I know that certain SAT scores, GPA etc do not guarantee admission,
but I'd like to know the range.

Also, could you recommend some other top schools (in the US)
for International Relations major?

All answers appreciated. Thanks!

right well i would say the best school for IR is the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.

as for SAT and GPA range go to collegeboard.com or look at the class profile on the schools official site.

Hey,
Most top school will provide you a solid background in IR, so a lot of your choice will come down to location and fit.
Consider schools near DC, like Hopkins, Georgetown SFS, American and GWU. Also, Tufts has a well-known IR program.

Also consider that Hopkins isn't IN DC, as my above post kind of implied. Hopkins has a science-y reputation, too, so consider that as well.

epigram: Hopkins has a graduate school in DC that is solely for the study of IR. One of my best friend's is in a 5 year program here and will be finishing by getting her master's from one of the most prestigious IR schools in the world. Check out Hopkins' SAIS (School of Advanced International Studies). The program in the undergraduate school is called "international studies", not "international relations." The undergraduate program, as I understand it, is influenced in many wonderful ways by the graduate program at SAIS, where some of the most renown leaders in the field are professors.
