International Relations Vs. Political Science?

I really want to major in the Korean Language, but majoring in Korean alone is not a good choice, so I looked at double majoring in Korean and International Relations. However, the college I am looking at, which I chose because it offers Korean as a major and has a good Korean program, which not many colleges do, does not offer International Relations as a major, but offers Political Science with a concentration on Global and International Affairs. I am looking to see if there are other colleges that offer International Relations as a major and at least Korean as a minor, but I was wondering if Political Science would be a good major for me or not. In the future, I would like to use Korean and English and become either a translator or an interpreter.

The University of Kansas offers a major in East Asian Languages & Culture: Korean Language as well as a major (or minor) in Global & International Studies. KU actually has a surprisingly good program for East Asian Languages. Lots of opportunities and scholarships for study abroad as well. http://admissions.ku.edu/humanities-intl-studies

I’m sure there plenty of options available foe you, neither is ridiculously uncommon. You might be limited to schools on the larger side though as neither major is extremely common.
