and for the sentence completion questions I remember getting
“touch”, for the museum question, we had to find a word that is synonymous with tactile, or tangible.
“endearing”, for the senator one
I dont remember much now, but I concur with the answers above for the sentence completions

my essay prompt was about advertising

I put in touch for one q too.
What was the senator one? From which text was it?

@1919191
what did u write about to support your point of view

and about the “enigmatic” one for the passages, I remember narrowing it down to two answers, “domineering” and “enigmatic”, it was kinda tricky, I ended up putting domineering because although that the author didnt know what she had in mind in the beginning, that would inspire that the mother was enigmatic, but when I kept reading a little more, the author said something like this: I bet she was already thinking about how that chicken was going to be hers) or something like that, and the question I think asked what did the author think about the mother, what were his views about her, so what he said later kinda shows that he thinks that she is dominnering because she ultimately knew that she is going to get what she coveted. I might be wrong, I might have misread the question, or confused it with another one

I wrote about how deceptive advertisements and ads can be
and everybody has his/her own opinions, u can choose any side, and argue about it
thats whats cool about the sat essay

It was about how the senator gave an … speech, that everyone sided with him
something like that

Thank u @1919191

no problem:)

the math curve for this test from what I have seen in the “count down to june 2009 sat scores” thread is like this
800
780
760
740
720

its a normal curve, thank god it isnt too harsh, I might have a chance to get 740, as I omitted one question, and so far, I see I made only 2 mistakes, the rest of the answers were confirmed, I hope I didnt make any stupid gridding mistakes

cant wait for the scores, 19 days to go, the wait is killing me

but if we only knew that this test was from the june 2009 administration, PERFECT SCORES
haha, so enticing, next time I take the sat,“if i have to”, I will be sure to memorize all answers for all test administrations that are available here at CC, damn, TOO close

I bet that the next international sat, will be from the november or december 2009 US administration, grab ur seat, and start preparing, CC is a life saver haha

I remember the one was (x^a)^b=(x^2a)^c or soemthing like that but I dun remember the other question that has another answer of 8. I heard writing curve was leninent on June 2009 since there were so many confusing questions

yeah that was it, I dont remember the other one too, but I know for sure that there was another 8… I thought the writing questions were very easy, if the curve was lenient as u say it is, then this might be an advantage, thanks for the info :)

the sparknotes writing tutorial really helped refresh everything, u should check it out too, lots of useful stuff in there

I thought I would get like 2 wrong max but after seeing the thread, everyone has different answer??? lol, what did pick for the water and rocks thing, the one of the answer choices was cliff something. was that experimental?

No, I had the cliff thing and I picked ‘tropical ocean’.

And ‘endearing’ means something that makes you like people.
I chose impassionate because that means ‘to arouse the passions of’.
The speech aroused the passions of the crazy supporters who did XYZ.

I definitely said enigmatic for the mom. Those specific lines are about how the author doesn’t know what her mom is thinking.

Section 10 was my worst section by far…

I got that question too, and I had a reading experimental, dont know which one though, but anyways I think I got that question wrong, I messed up in one critical reading section, it drained the life out of me…

heard the dummy is the philiopher guy, not sure if thats section 5 or 6. can anyone confirm it?
