I wrote if they were told TT. R u guys sure it is wrong?

@191919 what was the arrangement thing? I dun recall the question and what grid-in questions had answers of 8? heard two answers were 8, anyone remember?

I think that was about the connection between some people.

Yes! I chose these too. I corrected to strong personality in the last second before the end of the section.

@ MoonTuHon: What!? There was a “If they were told…” answer? Why didn’t I see that? Oh my…

Quote:
yo does anyone remember the answer to that question where they asked about what the string represented or something like that?
I think that was about the connection between some people.

Quote:
What about the little passage about a grandma in the cellar? I chose “strong personality” and “domineering”.
Yes! I chose these too. I corrected to strong personality in the last second before the end of the section.

============

exactly the same as you guys (:

@DinhNguyen what? u just said it’s were they to be told not if they were told …lol

I don’t remember having this section might be experimental

Anyway where do you guys think of applying?

I was reading the 2009 threads and they say that the experimental passage was with the philosopher who was writing about himself. It is confirmed then?

It is sad for me because I was doing pretty well on that one… I messed up with universities and the rocks.

@ MoonTuHon: that’s because I didn’t see “If they were told” choice. Was it C or D or E?

@DinhNguyen it was B i think

Then I’m a goner lol.

I recall that the question asked how many arrangements of 2 numbers are possible from 1,2,3,4. given that the numbers can be repeated, I put 4P2 on my calculator, which would give u all possible choices WITHOUT repetitions, which are 12, then u add 11 22 33 44, which would give u a total of 16 numbers.

and yeah, there were definitely two 8’s on the free response questions, answers were, 90,8,8,158,1491,65,3/7,heartbeat between 120 and 150, the inequality question which was number 7, had the answer A and the slope one which asked for the value of t, the answer was D,21… I dont remember the rest…

@ 1919191: actually for the 2-digit number question, we just need to to solve 4x4 = 16 (the first digit can be 1 or 2 or 3 or 4, same as the second).

I remember some vocabs:
equanimity
infinitesmal
protean
astonishing/fluid (as in movement)
distressed/objected

In the passages:
engagement -> involvement
pragmatical intelligences
enigma
perturb

^This sounds very familiar to me. :)

OR even easier: 4 possibilities for the first number times 4 for the second=16

Do u guys remember what the questions were for the answers 8 for the grid on?

one of the 8’s was for the powers, I remember it asked what is the value of A, when u simplify the equation u would get 8b=ab, I dont remember the other one though. but I know that I put two 8’s for questions that were one or two questions apart

and there was one question that asked for the value of z, it was a system of equations, was the answer 10? or was it -1/3, I might but I have mixed this up with another question, but I definitely remember that I got the right answer

What did you write In the essay
