guys...i still dont get the joke...someone explain?:)

But there are some things that can make the SAT score way less than what you expected or what's your level. Some people are horrible taking multiple choice tests, some are horrible taking multiple choice tests take about languages, some aren't suited for timed-big pressure multiple choice tests...others are better suited to discussion type of English lang/lit interaction. And so on and so forth. HiLine, it's okay. (Man, makes me wish I knew how to say "It's okay" in Vietnamese.)

:D :) :p

Martin: it seems my college list changes at my whim so this isn't a FINAL final list!!: Bates, Cornell College, Macalester, Carleton, Middlebury, Grinnell, Mount Holyoke, Wesleyan (Freeman Asian Scholar programme), Dickinson, Kent State, Drake Uni, St. Louis Uni :p, possibly Knox and Antioch. I REALLY gotta find me some matches.

Oooh, but here's a cool thing. I got the viewbook from Dickinson, opened this little pamphlet about students, and the first one was about a Romanian student who's doing amazing things on campus! Okay, I was kinda sold on that, cause...well...I sometimes get (superficially) patriotic about the countries I've lived in. blush Go, Romania!

jay01: I would explain it...but..I'm also clueless.. :o

Izzy, out of curiosity, which countries have you lived in?

malaysia indonesia romania vietnam united states. :D

yeah...go Romania! way to go Izzy! :D ;)

IzzyJ,I wish I could express the way we say 'It's Okay' in Vietnamese via typing. Vietnamese accent is completely different from English accent, which made that impossible.:D
For a joke,Izzy is the brand name of a yoghurt product in Vietnam, hahaha.

Go Romania and Bulgaria (to the EU :D)!

banedon, your knowledge impresses me :)

izzy what citizenship(s) are you holding? : ))), thanks but i don't understand what was that compliment for. :)

I mean how do you know where she's lived? I thought she had only mentioned about Malaysia, Romania and Vietnam.

Izzy, having moved so many times is definitely a hook ;)

Banedon stalks me. :p

Chronologically, I've born in M'sia, lived in US, lived in Malaysia, lived in Indonesia (Sumatra), lived in Malaysia, lived in Hanoi,Vietnam, lived in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnamed, lived in Malaysia, lived in Romania. WHEEEW!

Hey, everybody! Call me "Yogurt" from now on! :p

HiLine- I know Vietnamese accents are absolutely different from English. So is Romanian, too. It's amazing! Do you pronounce "ao dai" as "ow zai" or "ow dai"?

Don't know if it's a hook...so many intel kids, too. And a lot of American kids who've lived overseas, too. :(

Yeah,extremely impressive.
By the way, have you been to Vietnam? How long did you stay there?

we would say ow-zai

You guys are so noisy that I can't ignore:P I'm from Vietnam too :)
Izzy: Skimming through your school list, I was thrilled as I've always assured "Izzy" was taken from the guy in Guns and Roses. But you turn out to be a girl who is applying to MHC :D
