I think I did well on the Math IC which was fairly easy i have to say. Not sure about Bio cuz I hadnt even goen through what was required for the test. :(

heyy, came back from my first ever SAT I...

a beginner's experience/questions/wisdom:

math can be finished earlier than you think... just be careful with the 20 minute section

the critical reading section flew right over my head... whoooosh... i found it difficult to concentrate on the passages.

the essay was ok. what's the standard number of words you're expected to write?

the writing was... ehh... weird.

the test is LONG!!!

i have a question that may seem stupid but i would really appreciate getting an answer:

how important is it to fall in the exact SAT range of a college? i mean will it be really bad if imy score falls slightly or quite below the range?

i still can't tell how it went: could've been ok, bad or really bad. after the unexpected results of my SAT II, i don't trust myself to make a good guess

that's what the test makers are hoping to achieve.

then you will need other attibutes to offset that. like high grades.

my essay was pretty long; though i don't know if it qualifies to be a "SAT essay"... hmm...

my SAT II scores were horrible (670 lit / 630 math)... so i need good SAT I score... what's a good score for a top 15 liberal arts school?

(and can u teach me how to do the "quote" thing embarrassed... i'm really fascinated but i don't know how you guys do it blush)

i did literature... yay the poem was a bit eekeekeek... but i liked the test... so m in love with lit today ;) but i screwed up in che... din't get time to put on ans of last 10 ques :(...

I've never heard of Barron's before I join this forum... Oh, well. Our school library only has CB's "official" SAT helper. And of course not the one for the new SAT I... :o
