International SAT I and II results!

"Who IS Punch, anyway?"

One half of the allegedly famous British puppet show Punch and Judy, wherein Punch is the rude husband who keeps getting knocked on the head by Judy.

...

IM A GUY. GUYS DON'T GET PREGNANT. I WAS KIDDING.

and i thought you people by now would be able to tell my truths from my bs-es.

We know you're a guy and we know you were kidding. That's why we were kidding too;) What is bs?

hey banedon, that's why I was saying: who's the lucky MOM!!!!

Princeton and also Brown decisions are sent through DHL. but Brown also puts the results online :D

ooh, online results! that's scary AND exciting!

I agree!!

And the Uni Fair just ended. Wheeeee, got more viewbooks/pamphlets!

so cool. I have some at home....from quite a lot univs, but I wish I had even more:D

i got stuff from carleton and upenn today. i don't think i'll be applying to upenn... my list is pretty ivy-free. i'm slightly disappointed that upenn has sent only their application booklet and this thin booklet for students from abroad (do they mail the viewbook separately?). carleton on the other hand has sent really cool stuff - the white viewbook with the red apple's really cool and so are their booklets on international students, the class of 2009 and something called "engage the mind". in some colleges they don't mail international students their viewbooks unless they request for it again or something. i find that really lame: just because we live in different countries doesn't mean that we don't want to see the pictures and find out as much. in fact, it's even more important that internationals receive the viewbook because we can't visit the campus.

ah well...

but to tell you the truth, viewbook is the least important literature that can come from the college. it tells more about the marketing skills of the company hired by the school. but asking for it = showing interest. irony, no?

tht's about all you should expect from Penn! after you apply they send you other documents, but not the THICK viewbook that you get from some colleges!
and with the best business school (Wharton) belonging to Penn, you would expect better marketing skills from them.. lol!

yes, quite ironic. a good viewbook can make a very strong impression though. same goes for websites. when you see an interesting site or viewbook, your opinion regarding that college can be affected. which college do you think has the best viewbook and website?

haha i like u of c's one. but considering that im biased, dont count me on it. :)

surprise, surprise, i like vassar's viewbook the most blushes

the swarthmore one is nice, kinda cool and intelligent at the same time but it has this weird paper chemical smell that's really strong

carleton one makes me want to eat apples.

website: 1. vassar (the individual pages are more interesting than the home page).... 2. princeton (i like the fact that they always focus on one particular incident/individual related to the university)

Heeheee... I just found Carleton's apple on in my counselor's office.

And Colgate's...it doesn't seem that special, but I like how it's bound.

Engage the mind!

so, I have plenty of brochures.... dunno which I like best.... I don't think it has to be necessarely Brown's....they're so many! can't decide :p

Life of THe MIND whopeeeeeeeeee! grabs toes and bounces away

Says somewhere in the "over"view book that Carelton uses up some 41000 apples each year! nice reason to go to Carleton

but is it enough a reason for going to study 4 years there? :)
I still like Brown better :D

umm... tht was a "rolleyes" smiley if u didn't notice! :)

i dont' think i'm applying to carleton either

Darn college/uni intel admin officers!!

Now I'm starting to get interested in MORE schools and my list is already topping eight or so!!!

Anybody heard of Wittenberg, Purdue, Lafayette, Pace or SUNY Plattsburgh from an inte'ls pov?

OOOH, I love apples...but especially the green sour ones!

Banedon, you be one flexible boy!
