<p>i mean i dont wanna offend anyone but based upon my initial experiance and other ppl who have been here .. the time spent here really can be utilized in some very useful ways ..</p>
<p>like even i know CC is damn addictive and helpful but spending this much time on CC like day in and out is crazy.. BELIEVE me all the ppl who left on to college have simillar experiance and now all come here to advice prospectives not to be addicted .. </p>
<p>LIKE i considered myslef addicted but seeing the three of you ,... i feel so so normal.......</p>

<p>CC's about the only place I can find other internationals who want to go to the US and need financial aid... I can count on one finger, the number of people in my town(!) who are like that (depending on aid). Everyone else has enough of USD, so they just do an American Degree Programme. It can be very lonely sometimes, esp. since the application proccess is <em>bleargh</em> tedious. And being Malaysian, have to translate school transcripts as well...</p>

<p>Hey, Banedon, yes, the time diff does screw things up a little. And then the whole setting the clock one hour back screws it even more.</p>
<p>I'm now pondering whether to bother retaking the SAT I in January...That means I'd have to drive to either Iasi or Arad (6 hours or so one way, depending on traffic, condition of roads) and the whole thing about WHERE to stay... <em>sigh</em> I guess it's not worth it. Be a bit late, anyway. But damn...I've become so unsatisfied with my scores. Blah. </p>
<p>Got Stats Eval back.. <em>sniffles</em> If only I was born in the US...then I'd be a citizen or something...</p>

<p>i find CC... comforting. this is the one place where people can go on and on about colleges without having anyone go like, stop boring us or stop worrying! it's a great outlet, i think. all of us are concerned about the same thing and we can talk about it as much as we want. it feels like College Obsessed Anonymous (like those Alcohol Anonymous things) - almost therapeutic because you can vent out some of your college-related frustrations and have others who understand.</p>

<p>I like CC too. and although I'm one of the ppl smartmind talks about.....I do agree with him. sometimes I spend hours and hours just here...without doing anything! it's not normal. I should me doing math instead :( but I just can't :(</p>

<p>smartmind as you can see, at least today, the activity around here has been quite insignifiant.
what I love about this thread is the fact that we all had the chance to better know each other, therefore the advice we give one another has a more solid basis, imo.
I don't know if I would've been so active around here if it weren't the for the other posters. :)</p>
