Why do you want to go to England anyway? It's super expensive. You can't even breath without money.

I do IB Maths HL and I am finding it okay, some units are harder than others depending on what your strengths are. At my school we have 3 levels, 2 are standard level and 1 is higher. Maths HL, Math Methods SL, and Math Studies. Unless you are terrible at math or are planning on studying in university nothing to do with maths, you should take either HL or Methods. Both are pretty hard, but with work it is possible to get 6's and 7's. There is a lot of algebra, complex numbers, calculus. That kind of thing. You can check the syllabus.

I have friends in the SL classes and they find it quite difficult. My take on it is that we generally learn the same things, both SL and HL, but we go into a lot more depth, and for me that helps me understand. Both are hard though. Math studies is ridiculously easy, simple probability and simple algebra.

I didn't know any of my IB teachers before I started the program. Because IB is quite involved and generally classes are small and you pick subjects you love you get quite close to your teachers. I have a lot of my teachers private home numbers if I ever need any help. So don't worry about the relationships, as you start you get to know them.

Extended Essay is really important to pick a topic you love. I chose mine in maths because there is less of a word count issue and it is based in architecture, which is my main passion. You can do it in any of the IB subjects, there's probably a list somewhere on the IB website. You don't even have to be taking the class. You have to love the topic otherwise it will be hell writing it. If you are interested in the mind Psychology would be an interesting area, I am pretty sure the IB offers it. That would cover your interests on personalities.

Thanks a TON scarletleavy that website is incredible! Thanks for explaining what your paper was about I had NO CLUE!!! It will definately help me choose if I want to do the HL or not. I do have a lot of trouble in math I was the person who was always trying to understandd it and I would grasp the concept but had a hard time applying it. Thanks for the link!
Pavel the reason I want to go to England is because I fell in love with it when I was younger, my grandparents used to live their for the longest time so I have been to England 3 times and I love the feeling.
