International Student Accepted but dilemmas..

hello everybody I'm an international student from Florence, Italy, and was just accepted to JH and to Boston University (with full tuition to both amazingly enough, not coming here to brag, low sat score 1930 needed basically total aid..), with some questions for current students or anybody who can answer them:

-I play in a rock band here and want to start a new one next year, how is the music scene at Johns hopkins (not the classical one)?

-I am not a science/math person and am very attracted to Film studies, Humanities etc..would I be a minority here or is it pretty even?

-How is the social scene/party scene? I keep searching the forums but I keep getting mixed comments so I would appreciate more feedback particularly from current students..

-What type of people are there? I know it's a strange question but i'm not sure that I would fit in based on what I have read about the school..here in Italy most people dress skinny jeans, and with a style some of you american people would define as "Hipster", or with skateboard company apparels.. would I be considered strange at JH??

-How is sleeping in a quad? my parents are looking into this because it will make us save more money..

strange questions that may seem ridiculous but if you can please answer them..

another thing, how far is it to get to NYC and Boston by train?

BUMP…bump…
