I finished School after my GCSE's (16) and I'm going to be applying to Universities in Feb/March/Apr I got 4 Passes (at C or above) 2 B's 2 C's and the rest of my results were D's I took 9 Subject matters overall. I just turned 18 in October but my main questions I'm hoping can be answered. Is it true you need to have 5 GCSE's at C or above ? or should I contact the admissions office for each College I'm interested in to find out how they admit students who have been educated in the U.K. My second question may be harder to answer as I want to play Soccer at Division 1 or 2 when I'm over there I've seen that I need to make myself NCAA eligible they look at GCSE results differently to what I've been told from numerous sources as an example a D grade in GCSE is looked at as a US equivalent of a C grade. (If I'm NCAA eligible) does that mean I can get admitted into any Colleges competing at that level or not ? As I definitely qualify for eligibility atm.

Well look forward to some responses with sound advice. I've already taken the ACT and SAT tests last year and scored well in both. I'd also be able to pay the tuition fee's of most colleges my budget would be at $40,000 but my Parent's would prefer it to be lower of course if possible through Sporting Scholarship or what not (If I'm even eligible for it) as I have no idea.
