Hey everyone! I have a question about school. I’m international from Russia and the educational system is different. We don’t have actual high schools. All schools from primary to high schools are in the same building and they don’t differ from each other that much. I’ve attended 3 schools in my life (1st from 1st to 5th grade, 2nd just half of my 5th grade and 3rd from 6th grade up to now. I hope I sated that clear enough). Should I just include my last school in Common App cause it’s sort of my high school or every school I’ve ever attended?
Hope the question is not too confusing. Thanks for the answers
We just went through the proces with my daughter last yr. If I remember right, Common App is only concerned with high school, so your most recent one is enough. D also had to state that we have 11 grades instead of 12, which makes for 3 yrs of high school instead of 4. I think by now they are familiar with this, nobody asked us to clarify. Feel free to ask more questions.
There are US schools that house all grades from kindergarten to 12 in one building, so colleges won’t find that unusual. The records they’re interested in are your high school (9-12th grades), so just list your current school.
Thank you everybody for answers, it was helpful
