International Studies vs. Global Studies

So I plan on finding a minor related to international relations/affairs and one of the colleges I am considering is Penn State. I looked through their catalog and I see both Global Studies and International Studies as a minor being offered there. As far as I am concern, both programs are the same but now I’m quite intrigued by that?

One focuses morebon globalization (economics, cultural exchanges) and the other on political science/international relations.

Global studies is more humanities based (language, culture) whereas international studies/affair is more economics, political science based.

The International studies program also includes an emphasis on study abroad.
