Internship/General Resume help

My friend works for a small company that I asked him about and would like to send them a resume for an internship or other technical position to gain some experience (I'm doing MechE). I will be finished with community college next month. I have some questions:

1) I attended college back in 2006 for Audio Engineering (not related to MechE, but still technical and involves computers and wiring), should I include this?

2) I took a couple of extra classes at CC and will be receiving an A.S. in two other majors; so in total I will have three A.S.'s in Engineering Science, Physics, and Mathematics. Should I include these?

I will have other questions, I'll include them as they come along. Thanks!

By all means, include your audio engineering classes and the extra CC classes. I would always like to see as much as I could about someone’s ability to do technical work whether or not it was directly related to the job I was offering. It shows an ability to preform.

Include a cover letter and be sure to state what type of work you are now pursuing and at this point a little bit of why you are interested in that field wouldn’t hurt.
