Internship Prospects for a High School Student?

This year I interned at a small quantitative hedge fund... would definitely like to find a different kind of internship for next year, as soon as possible (peace of mind).

I am a great student and know how to program. I am located near the New York area. Are there any big companies in the area that are noted for their tendency to give internships to high school students? I figure it will be rare, but I am willing to send out many applications and know that I will get rejected more often than not.

I am looking for a programming or finance related internship.

Thank you!!!!

Edit: This would be a summer internship, obviously.

The first thing I remembered, was asking papa why. For there were many things I didn’t know.

Seriously though, interning in high school doesn’t show you’re smart, motivated or show initiative. It’s just weird.
You won’t gain any relevant experience and or gain any particularly worthwhile skills.
Hell, even as a junior in college, the most high stakes work you will be involved in in an S&T internship is successfully filling lunch orders.
