Internship question

<p>I am a rising senior from southern maryland and I am looking for a good internship program. At first, I was looking into internships just for the summer after grad, but if I can get one close by I wouldn't mind having one during the up and coming school year. So I wanted to know if any of you parents know of any good internship programs in the maryland, D.C., or Virigina area. (If it is a summer internship program then I wouldn't mind if it was far away.) I know many of you parents have kids doing alsorts of programs so any help would be greatly appreciated. </p>

<p>My major areas of interest are......
Medicine
Politics
Enviroment
cooking
....but I am open to anything. If you know of any interesting programs that don't involve my interests, still feel few to post them. I mostly want an internship to try new things and to learn more about my interests. </p>

<p>I don't know of any official internship programs in that area, but if you're interested in medicine, you could try getting a research position at the Hopkins med school (though I don't know much about MD geography, so I don't know how far that will be for you...)</p>
