Hey everyone! I am an International student and didn't apply for financial aid. But I don't want my parents to pay for everything so I was wondering whether anybody knows whether Smith has internships/scholarships for first years?
I have heard of the Praxis Internship. Is it hard to get involved with that?

Here you go: <a href=“Praxis Program | Smith College”>Praxis Program | Smith College; Looks like a great program

Praixs scholarships are not available for first-year students. A student has to have 64 credits in order to qualify for a Praxis.

There are a variety of jobs and small paid internships available to students during the school year, and some of these are open to first-years (an example: teaching science at a local grade school or high school during January). There are also various summer jobs and paid internships on campus during the summer, some of which are open to students who have finished their first year.
