Interntional Application for out-of-school student.

I’m from Malaysia and our high school finishes at Form 5, (equivalent to 12th grade), however we need to complete a pre-university course to be able to enter university. Hence I’ve taken GCE-A levels at another school. Now I’ve finished my GCE-A levels and not attending any school, currently I’m taking a gap year because our education system starts in January instead of September.

Which secondary school should I state as currently attending, since I’ve graduated from both. The school that I’ve been in for 5 years or the Pre-university college that I’ve been for only one and a half year.

Which secondary school’s guidance counselor should write for my secondary school report? Most of my leadership and extra-curricular activities is done during the 5 years, and the new school i attended has no idea about the amount of work I’ve put in.

I had finished high school, do I need to submit Mid-Year school report?

Which teacher recommendations should i submit? The one that taught me for 5 years or the ones that taught me for only a year and a half?

What if my high school does not have transcript? Just grades of National Examination? Do I submit those grades as replacement?

There is a college requiring me to write a paper and to be mark by a teacher, where should I find a teacher to mark for me now? should i contact the particular college to consult?

Thanks and sorry for the long questions, Just starting my application and it is hard to answer since our systems are different.

1) & 2) I am not sure I am quite clear about this. Have you been attending two institutions at once? Or did you attend the school for 5 years and then attend the pre-university college for 1 1/2 years? If it's the second case, you definitely have to send the school report from the school you attended latest; and in addition you may need to send the Report from your old school as well. I would advise contacting your universities for their own requirements. If it's the first case, it seems like a weird situation but most likely you will have to send school reports from both institutions.

3) I don't think you have to submit the Mid-Year School Report (since all the relevant information will already be in the School Report); however once again you should email the universities you are applying at to learn about specific requirements.

4) Submit it from teachers who know you best or those you feel will be able to write the best recommendations for you.

5) Once again I am a bit confused. Surely if you are going to send the School Report then you do not need another transcript as well? If you really do need a transcript just ask your school to type one out for you (and make sure it includes grades of National examinations).

6) Yes you should probably contact the college. I suspect what you need to submit is an assignment or a coursework of some sort that you did while in school and that was marked by a teacher.

oo thanks, by the way, 1 & 2 is the second case. two different schools.
