So, two days ago, a Princeton alumnae called me at home, left her phone number, and asked me to call her back to set up an interview for admissions. I didn't write down the number immediately because I was zonked that night and went straight to bed. However, my sibling came along and pressed the play button on the message machine (without also pressing "save") and erased all of the Princeton alumnae's message. What am I to do?!

Is there a Princeton alumni website that I could use to contact my regional admissions person? If so, please share! At the least, I can contact my regional officer and ask what to do...perhaps he or she would be willing to give me an interview if the original person cannot be contacted/found.

I really appreciate the chance to do alumni interviews because I am generally a pretty pleasant/interesting person...lol.

Any help you can give me will be highly appreciated!

Coincidentally, my counseling office is incompetent, and hasn't sent out midyear reports yet so I was scouring Princeton's website for contact information the other day. Couldn't find an e-mail or any regional directors, but the Admissions office number is 609-258-3060. They can probably point you in the right direction.

heybucs, thanks for the info! Is there a more specific number though? I live in VA and would like to know who my regional officer is. I'm sure they have this information somewhere.

Can anyone else help me? I am seriously worrying about losing this person's contact information! I don't want the admissions office/alumni association to think I wasn't interested!

I think you should just contact the admission office, because they are the ones who assign the interviewees to the interviewers so they should be able to give you the contact information for your interviewer. And you should do it as soon as possible, that is, first thing on Monday, and then call your interviewer immediately after that.

Coquettish, what did the admission office tell you? Was it immediately taken care of or did they suggest you send an email to someone, who then will take care of your interview problem?

Coquettish, my problem is simpler: I haven't been contacted for an interview. I was in Europe until now but I will be living in the U.S. in late Feb. and March (complicated situation), and I hope I will be interviewed there, so I sent my new contact info to 2 different people in charge of interviews (I got their email addresses from a lady answering the phone at the Adm Office)... Unfortunately, they haven't answered my email yet. I hope your problem gets resolved!

Wildsky, haha, I'm the only one stupid enough to have a sibling erase messages from an answering machine. I haven't been e-mailed back yet...it's causing me distress. I e-mailed them early this morning. Ahhhh!!! I hope you get an alumni interview with Princeton! I haven't done one with Princeton, specifically, but all of mine have been so pleasant! You'd think that the experience would be slightly stressful, but it's not at all. Compared to teenagers, adults are much more understanding and are generally more interested in a WIDE range of topics. Anyways, I'm babbling...good luck with acquiring an interview!

If that means-"Do you speak Xhosa?" The answer is no, I dont, sorry. I speak Yoruba and a little Hausa (Nigerian Languages, though Hausa is not exclusively Nigerian)
