I was contacted by Harvard about an interview in the first week of December. I called my interviewer, who took my phone number and said they* would call me back to "set something up" because they were busy at the moment (I assumed they were at work, which was true). I waited five days and called them again, and we scheduled an interview for Dec. 18. The morning of Dec. 18 they called and said they were sick, so we would schedule something next week. They asked for me to call.

Next week I called but they were still sick and they said they would call me to schedule a date before the winter break is over (but its now over). I waited and never got a call, and I finally called them last Friday. They said they would call Monday or Tuesday after getting their work schedule. And it's now Tuesday and I haven't gotten a phone call.

My parents are sort of upset, but I am trying to remain patient and hopeful. I know that interviewers are trying to meet with Harvard candidates in the midst of busy work schedules and life in general. But I feel like I've been playing phone tage for a while. I mean, my interviewer won't call me when they say they will, so I feel weird calling them...

My mom says that if they don't call today, I need to let the interview go. This is not fair.
