Interview Tips

So tomorrow I am going up to USCGA for a briefing and tour and to also meet with Coach Rose.

After the tour I am going to be having an interview.

What should I be expecting, What should I bring? Is a long sleeve shirt & tie too much?

Anything to help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't think a tie would be too much. It would be a good idea in my opinion. Make sure to update us when you get back on how you liked the academy and coach Rose.

Sounds Fun. Good Luck with your interview.

My advice:BE YOURSELF...don't try to put on anything. Show that you are genuinely interested in becoming a cadet. Be prepared to tell why you want to go there; prepare some questions for the interviewer. Do your research in advance. Make the coach your friend and best advocate. He can do a lot for your application.

Shirt tie and jacket is good, as is good grooming. Look the part...sharp.

Good luck and let us know how it goes!
