I've got an interview coming up during the next week and I was just wondering what kinds of questions did u'all who already had interviews asked your interviewers.
I know I
m not supposed to ask questions that could be found somewhere else.....but in reality an answer to any question can be found somewhere.....so what do u'all think about these.......cause I'm actually interested in the answers to them JUST BE SURE NOT TO ANSWER THEM fOR ME......I wanna save them for the interview

1.How many classes to students usually take per semester?
2.What made ur experience at Princeton good? (of course it will be asked better than this)
3.In your opinion how is the diversity at Princeton?
4.Do many students party all the time? 5.If not, do they party at all? 6.If so, did u party at Priceton? 7.Where?
8.Do students study all the time? 9.Does is depend on the major u're taking? 10.In your opinion what major gives its students the most work? 11.What was ur major? 12.What was ur curriculum like? 13.What kind of assignments did ur professors usually give? 14.How were u usually tested?
15.What the prescence of greek life? 16.Are those parties afore mentioned usually given by fraternities/sororities? 17.Were u a member of one? 18.What did u do?(I honestly don't know much about greek life)
19.Does everyone play sports? 20.What kind?
(Princetonreview says not to ask questions about a school appearance such as how people see princeton as being too isolated but u'all think this is true??)
21.Is Princeton really as isolated as people make it seem? 22.How is the relationship with the town around the school and the students? 23.For example, when I graduate will there be a town right outside waiting for me to come work for them? 24.Are there places in the town waiting to hire me?
25.Is Princeton really good for the major I plan to take?
26.I'm really interested in the arts, is there a major focus on the arts on campus?

Well thats all I've thought of so far......What do u'all think?.....Good Enough?

wow...i certainly did not ask those questions. Who's interviewing who? lol

I basically asked about his personal experience...what he majored in, what his thesis was on, whether he thought the professors were accessible, etc.

An additional question, if you're interested:
-Is it difficult to study abroad junior year and still complete your junior papers?

LOL.... I know it seems like a lot of questions but I figured it would be good to come prepared and stuff........
thanks ......I didn't even think about the senior thesis and the study abroad thing (which I am also really interested in)........
anyone else?

Can anyone tell me of a good source of information about Princeton, because I mean I obviously did research on them as I applied to them and they are my first choice, but compared to other people I feel like I know almost nothing because they didn't do a presentation near where I live and visiting the campus is a little out of reach for me, any suggestions?

wow.. you people are REALLy prepared. i've never gone into an interview with questions prepared or a whole little speech or whatever. It is way too unnatural and colleges want to see how you act and what your personality is naturallly. They don't want to see a show put on by you... but then, being prepared is always a good sign to the interviewer that you care.... the questions are good though.

I went into my interview a response to everything he could possibly ask, and I walked out to him telling me, "In all my 30 years as an interviewer, you're the most passionate Princeton aspirant I've ever met." How did he reach that conclusion? Through all of the facts, figures, and questions I threw it him! (not to mention some good old HYS bashing :D)

The moral of my little story::

Don't be afraid to be an expert on the school you've got your heart set on. ;)

mine went for about 45 minutes. i didnt ask many questions (just about his major and eating clubs), and we talked about general stuff. it was really relaxed and the guy was really great. overall i think i came off a little bit shy, but it was a friendly interview. just relax :)

figures.
My interviewer was class of '75 so...
did they even have girls then?!
His son went to my school (and then Princeton) but I never knew him because he just never stood out lol
