I have a scholarship interview this Monday with the Orange County Georgia Tech Club (in CA). I didn't really think about it before, but it just clicked to me.

What do you think they'll ask me? Should I do some kind of research or something before I go? Or should I just walk in?

I interviewed with the alumni club in my area last year, and they asked a lot of basic questions about your background, your activities, your interest in Tech, and your application/essays. You should probably know a little about Tech before you go. I hope that helps. :)

Hey guys I came back from my interview a little while ago, and here are some of the things I learned/they told me:

Georgia Tech is internationally well-known and you can pretty much get a job anywhere after you graduate.
Tech life is really hard if you're an engineer, and it's pretty much a full-time job.
You'll make more friends in your major than in your dorms, although your dorm friends can be pretty helpful since you're "all in the same boat."
You basically don't need to go to Grad School.
It's very easy to get to and from the airport(s), and there's a sort of tram that goes around Atlanta.
Tech has LOTS of research opportunities. They pretty much have a small CAMPUS for biomedical E.
They have huge research partnerships with Emory U.
Tech has some program with a bunch of companies where students are pretty much guaranteed jobs.

I was put as the "2nd Alternate" for the scholarship in our area. What do you think the chances of me getting it are? I'm guessing pretty slim, lol.
