I was looking on Dartmouth's website for information about interviews, but I couldn't find any in depth information. How does the interview process work at Dartmouth? Do they interview you after you've been selected or beforehand?

Once you turn in an application you’re information will be sent to a regional admissions officer who will send your contact info to a local alum (if avalible) who will then conduct interviews at their discretion/availability. In my case there were no active alums in my immediate area, so I never even interviewed for Dartmouth. (though I did for several other schools and I’d have to beleive the experiences are pretty uniform, well unless you do something stupid like I did at my Yale one… haha good memories).

But in short, everyone gets an interview, provided they can make it happen with their alum network.

I think everybody gets an interview if they turn in their application in a timely manner…like maybe a few weeks before the January 1st deadline. I think I submitted the application on December 23rd or something for Dartmouth and I was never called for an interview. It’s a shame too because the interviewer I would have gotten is best friends with one of my best friend’s parents.

Thanks for the replies. I actually found the page with info on interviews a few hours after I posted this.
