Int'l applicants.. Did you get a DHL e-mail?

Common sense? Why would they spend money on rejects

thanks..........

Actually.

"For all international students, the mailing will be handled through DHL."

We all SHOULD get a DHL e-mail. This was from an e-mail written to me by a admissions officer.

Ouch. There goes my hopes.

dun worry ArchHopeful....you're in
I really dont think a rejection letter would weigh 1 pound

Rejected. STILL no DHL email.

i'm still not going to assume anything until i get the letter.

We'll have to wait like 1-2 weeks for that :( A DHL package should be here by Monday/Tuesday.

Yea but there were reports of poeple getting in mid-late april last year....
Although since our status changed to "acted upon", i'm gessin we're rejected...

Why? Didn't pretty much everyone's change to acted upon? Sheeeeez, I wanna go to USC :@:@:@:@::@:@:@:@@:!!&(#&@@

me tooooooooooo !!!!!!!!!!!!

We all do....but i'm pretty much taking it for granted that i'm rejected.

But i'm not taking this in the wrong way. My stats seemed perfectly fine for USC, however i know that all iv been doing for the past two years is sitting on my ass watching TV. If i'd have got in i'd be taking away the seat of another deserving candidate. I wish him the best o' luck and i'll be seeing u'll in Fall 2010
Cya

C'mon aj16. Be hopeful still. I remember you were the one who said you wouldn't take no for an answer because you deserve to go. Believe in yourself. If it doesn't happen, then it wasn't meant to be.

Have faith in yourself.

You deserve the seat haah.

What school did you blokes apply to?

USC Marshall School of Business. And yourself?

I absolutely love the school but sort of regret applying to an impacted major.

Yeah but all this mental toture from not just USC but all universities i'v applied to has catalysed a great deal of introspection. As much as i believe i am a deserving candidate i cant ignore the fact that in the last two years i'v done nothing but befriended beer and a particular leaf.

I'v been rejected at all unis i'd have wanted to go. But i'm looking at the next two years as boot camp after which i can re-apply as a truly deserving candidate and if i'm rejected then THEN i can say that i deserved to go there.
As for now i'm going to the university that believes in me and in my ability.

(yeah protege i wish i applied to CLAS too, marshall's way too competitve)

Haha beer and a particular leaf. I haven't indulged in anything much besides partying. But, I have also slacked off well enough in 9th grade. I've slacked off so much that it's probably the only weakness in my application. Sigh. Gotta' live with no regrets now.

Oooh business. Good stuff. I had a go at a commerce course during my short attempt at my local backup university and it was enjoyable and a breeze.

I'm applying arch of course. :D

(I honestly would not have made it into any top tier American school in any other degrees, mainly because for architecture I at least have a good portfolio.)

Yes know how you feel aj16. I spent the entire month wondering why everyone was recieving letters and mine was still stuck on requesting additional materials for 2 months. Hang in there mate.

11th grade for me here....but i didn't do too well in 10th grade all-important Indian board exams either

haha yeah partying issue here as well.. on the first semester of junior year lol
