<p>My guess is it’s part of their marketing effort to really attract you as a potential applicant. You got to remember that colleges court students as much as students want to sell themselves to colleges. Even if this “invite” goes out to many, don’t sweat it. If your metrics are in line and you show sincere interest, you should do well. Good luck to you.</p>
