Involvement with Penn

Hi. I'm a senior at a charter school in Philadelphia. I have a question for anyone who knows about the admissions process at Penn. Ever since my junior year, I've been taking college courses at Penn through their Young Scholars program. I'm currently taking one class and plan to take another in the spring semester. I also volunteered at the Hospital of the University of the Pennsylvania and worked under administrators, doctors, nurses, etc. I became close friends with my supervisor(who happened to be an administrator at HUP), and she ended up writing me a recommendation letter for Penn. My brother was also accepted to Penn under the class of 2016. With all that said, will my involvements with penn boost my chances of admission? I spend at least 2-3 days a week on Penn's campus going to class, enjoying the city, volunteering, visiting my brother, etc.

I am applying regular decision this year, and would like to know if all my involvement with penn wont be for nothing. Any feedback is appreciated! Thanks!!!

Boost, yes. Guarantee, no.

Funny saying, seeing how the stars are so much further away but you get the point.
