I have a IPhone 10 and I’m not a bit impressed with the camera, especially in low light, so grainy. I’ve read the 13 has a really good camera and I was hoping someone here has one that can tell mr what they think.
I have the iPhone 13 pro max for context. I would say the cameras better in terms of quality definitely, especially in terms of low light. The camera facing towards you doesn’t really have much of a difference in my option but the camera facing away has a noticeable difference.
I don’t really use my camera all that often, but these are things I’ve observed. The only annoying thing with the camera is they way it switches to wide angle/regular automatically.
I upgraded from a XR by the way.
The camera is significantly better. It also takes photos in such a high quality that the files are very large.
I guess I don’t what that means, that the files are large.
I took a camera comparison on a zoomed in from the other side of my room low light image.
The more orange one is the XR vs the 13 pro max which is clearer
So, when you get ready to take a regular pic it’s wide angle and you have to reset? I didn’t even know phone camera had a wide option.
Wow, what a difference!
It depends; like if it’s out of focus; it shifts sometimes from regular/wide angle camera. I don’t think I can manually turn it to wide angle camera but just happens:
I suppose if I took a picture landscape it would
It looks like the wide angle camera can make things look farther than they actually are
For reference, I’m located near the foot of my bed and the headboard is what the doll thing is on;
I have a queen bed if that helps with distance
sorry, that was not clear, the picture files are very large, they take up a lot of room and when you take videos with it they are so large that they cant be emailed or texted
I’ve experienced that as well. Do you think cropping would fix that?
although i used to think i was technologically adept, I cant figure it out. I am sure that anyone who understands photos could crop them or decrease the quality settings. The new os also defaults to sharing things over the cloud which I hate but does allow you to send the videos.
I hope apple is going to make some sort of update that’ll fix it. But with Tim Cook, it’d probably mess other things up in the process
Oh, that’s too bad.
