<p>Any IR majors want to give me some insight into the IR program at Wellesley? What sort of opportunities are there? How are the professors? How hard is it to double major considering the number of major requirements?</p>

<p>This is from my D: If you major in IR, you cannot double major in Economics, Political Science, or History, because you have to choose one of those disciplines as a track in the IR major. You also have to continue in a language. Many students end up double-majoring or minoring in a language because you have to take it anyway. Your advisor, if you choose an IR major, will come from either Econ, PoliSci, or History, depending on the track you choose. IR is an interdisciplinary program hosted by several departments.</p>
<p>My D is not an IR major but she considered it at one point. </p>
