I am an international student attending a small liberal arts college in the United States. I am majoring in International Relations and Political Science (with a minor in History). My GPA is above 3.5 and I speak about four different languages. I have also been involved with organizations on campus that deal with international issues.

I am looking at graduate programs in International Relations and was wondering if it is a good idea to go back to my country and work for a few years before applying to graduate schools here. It would be much more convenient for me to go to graduate school right after graduation but it seems rather unlikely. Also, what schools should I consider ( I am looking at specializations in International Organizations and Human Rights)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
