<p>I've heard that Iron Arrow is some kind of secret society, kind of the Skull & Bones of UM. Does anybody have any other information?</p>
<p>As I recall, it's an organization that students who have exhibited leadership qualities may be invited to join.</p>
<p>It's the "highest honor attainable at the University of Miami."
About 20 people get tapped each semester and it's a huge honor. Usually tappees have extremely high GPAs and are involved and have leadership positions in numerous organizations.
They wear funny jackets and bang a large drum in the middle of campus. Other than that, everything else is pretty much a secret.</p>
