i plan on double majoring (im currently a HS senior) but after realizing i would have to spend a year or two extra to get that double major (very little overlap) i am questioning the value in an engineering and econ double major.

is it worth the extra year or two to double major (financing is not a problem) or would it be better to get a graduate degree in the extra 2 years

if they go hand in hand sure…those don’t seem to… I personally wouldn’t spend time on them and maybe you can get done with bachelors first and start on a masters instead of wasting time on another major you’ll never use.

i.e. political science/economics…
business/econ
sociology/econ
political science/international relations
math/finance
math/computer science
physics/math
*language/communications
public administration/urban planning
business/finance
business/accounting
information systems/computer science

engineering would probably go better with physics/material engineering/chemical engineering/mechanical engineering/electrical engineering/computer science/math

usually people do double majors where a bunch of the same courses are going to overlap.
