Is a Master's in marriage and family therapy worth the cost?

I will be starting the Master's in marriage and family therapy program in January.I got accepted into Pepperdine satellite irvine location that will cost me around 63,000 dollars in loans. I also got accepted into Azusa Pacific University for the same program that will cost me around 36,000 dollars in loans. I really wanted to go to Pepperdine even if it is the satellite location, further of a drive and more expensive than Azusa. However, does it really even matter which school i attend? Should i go this much into debt only a Master's degree? Please help.

That is a huge difference in cost – are the programs really different enough to justify paying so much more?

I’m pretty sure that it is the same program. I think the high cost is just because of the name of the school. I want to go to Pepperdine because of the prestigious name but, i am starting to fear the debt and commuting an hour and a half 4 nights a week . The program with Azusa pacific is that they require me to take 2 prerequisite classes before starting the program so in going there, i will start the real program 6-9 months later than at Pepperdine which has no Prereqs. So im stuck in deciding.
