<p>Hey guys! Does winning a medal in International science olympiad guarentee the admission in NUS/NTU?</p>
<p>As far as I can tell, it’s a plus, but not a must have. So what other packages you might have as well, will be taken into account. So a medal in International science olympiad might be countering other parts in your application that might not be good (if your grades are aware and so on). I’m in the same process myself, but without a medal in science, so I just know what I’ve read from their sites 
You could contact them directly and see how they weight stuff like that.</p>
