Is AMSCO APUS biased?

I am currently using the AMSCO 2010 Edition book to prepare for my APUS testing. I'm noticing this heavy anti-conservatism and pro-liberalism sentiments in this prep book -- the Republican would always be heavily criticized upon, while the Democratic/Progressive presidents were praised to no end. I was just wondering if the book might be biased (and the Amazon reviews said so, too).

I'm politically independent, in case you were wondering.

Thank y'all.

I also fall somewhere on the middle of the political spectrum. My APUSH teacher last year was undoubtedly liberally biased, and I’d say AMSCO’s book was to some degree. I’ve found that common in a lot of high school history resources, though.
That being said, AMSCO’s book is a fantastic review resource for APUSH and was instrumental in helping me achieve a 5.
Best of luck! :)
