Is an ACT 36 viewed the same as an SAT 1600?

<p>I have a friend who scored a 36 on the ACT and I am wondering if colleges view it the same way as a 1600?</p>

<p>yeah it might be slightly better. Its a lot harder to get an act 36.</p>

<p>I wouldn't say that it is "a lot harder" but there is a slightly fewer percentage of students who score a 36 than do a 1600.</p>
