<p>@loveology … Do you know of any RD people that got in for screenwriting? Maybe they just haven’t sent out decisions for that major. I’m HOPING that’s what it is, but yeah, I’m getting nervous. LMU was kind of a “target” school for me so I’m starting to get worried! Haha</p>

<p>My portal changed and my letter came in the same day! AHH! I’m so psyched! But I dont want to get too excited because it’s REALLY expensive. Do you guys know how much financial aid they give? Are they good at it?</p>

<p>Yup April 1st is the last day. But, knowing LMU, it’ll probably be a couple days later than that…</p>
<p>I emailed my D’s counselor today- she said they visitied LMU yesterday and they are overwhelmed with the application numbers…my D applied EA in studio arts- was one of three deferred-the other two heard last week- one yes and one no, and it seems just my kid and one other still are UNDER REVIEW!!!
The counselor also said gender bias in favor of male applicants this year since the pool was femal heavy is another issue. At this point, my kid is totally discouraged, I feel frustrated that a kid who applied EA is still waiting to hear, if it is a no - just say so already!!!</p>
<p>I was deferred EA and my portal switched to “Waitlist” today.
I think it’s unfair to make an early applicant go through this much waiting!</p>

<p>Same results here. D deferred EA, waitlisted this morning. 3.9GPA 1880 SAT (if that helps future applicants) Not impressed at all with the process or communication level. Loved the school and it was her first choice, back in Oct. With every month that went by in limbo the glitter started to tarnish. She will commit to another school and not even think about waitlisting. I know she will be very happy and bloom where planted. Good luck to everyone else still waiting. Hope you have better news. Congrats to those who have been admitted.</p>
<p>I was waitlisted also. It’s not even worth waiting for, so I’m just gonna take my name off and commit to a better school.</p>
