But if you feel as though Oberlin or Grinnell are 'better' schools anyways, then why be so upset about your package at Knox?

I really did love Knox and was considering going there instead of all of my other schools. I put "better" in quotes because those other schools are more well known in terms of LACs, but I didn't necessarily consider these schools actually better. I've never been big on prestige or rankings. I liked Knox a lot, but I unfortunately did not have any money to visit and they didn't offer to fly me down like the other schools did. I still think Knox is a wonderful institution, but my financial situation (in more ways than one) prevented me from deciding on Knox. Hopefully I'll be happy and successful at Wellesley next year.

I've just started looking at Know and it sounds really great! Now I really want to go visit! Maybe I'll just go to the neareset amtrak station...lol, I'll probably wait until the fall semester starts.
Does anyone know what the scholarship situation is like? the website lists a few availible scholarships but gives no indication of the requirements or how many of each are awarded...

Knox is a beautiful college. It is set on a small campus in a little town. Knox offers many merit scholarships. I would call and ask about the requirements- they are very friendly and helpful. They also seem to work very hard to help people with finanical aid. My daughter starts there this fall and I'll know more about the school then. Check out Knox; it's worth the trip.
