<p>If you want to transfer here, have faith, for the UC’s give priority to community college students AND students from other UC’s, which means that (if you are doing well at Santa Cruz) you’re in luck.</p>

<p>“Although we give highest priority in transfer admission to California community college students, each year about 10 percent of all transfers enter UC from a four-year college or university.”</p>

<p>Ah, yes, but what I meant to emphasize is that it is entirely possible, and even probable, if an applicant simply puts in the effort :)</p>

<p>Three of my friends transferred to a UC of their choice successfully (from another UC). The ones who do not get accepted are usually the ones who do not apply in the first place.</p>
