@Gator88NE
Yikes! Just read how students spend 45 min in line to buy books @ UCF !

Maybe it’s just me, but 45 minutes doesn’t seem very long. You order and pay for your books through myucf and just go pick them up at your convenience.

@ufmomfriend U Central FL is still on our list of Full Rides as NMF (if he wants to be out of state, and for Comp Science)

Wow. Sounds like a great school they are growing down there in Florida. Good for them!

@MassDaD68 Total enrollment: 64,318 (2016)
The Honors at UCF is nice feature, to keep some classes capped (therefore, not all classes will be super LARGE lectures)

They will keep growing! I’ve read many complaints about students at UCF who commute, and they can NOT find parking!!! Not a fun thing at all !!! B-)

Also, they are big on online classes. A friend of our family goes there. She is a sophomore working toward a Business degree. All of her classes (for fall 2016 and spring 2017) are online. She goes to the testing center to take her exams. I think this is how they are able to expand.

@yellowgranite56 yes, I learned about those online classes. makes we wonder if other majors are also online at times.

Some business classes are “lecture capture”. You can attend the lecture or not, but the lecture is available online after the fact but this is not considered an official online class. That probably just confuses the issue…lol.

@2sunny, I asked my daughter about books. She ordered and paid for her books thru myucf and spent no more than 10 minutes in BN picking them up.
