Is Business Calculus limiting?

Hey,

I am a Health Care management major (in the school of business) and am deciding whether to take Business calc or Calc 1. Now Calc 1 is supposed to be more difficult, and is 4 credits as opposed to BC's 3, so unless there is incentive to take Calc 1, BC seems to be the better option. So my question is, as a Health Care Management/Business major, is there any incentive to take Calc I? Can Business calc be limiting in the sense that it cannot be used in future education? For example if I were to pursue an MBA or any other graduate degree, would Calc 1 ever be required over BC? Does Calc 1 look better on a resume? Thanks.

I both took Business Calculus and Calculus I in college. I don’t see why Business Calculus would be limiting because in Business you use more Applications then Theory. Like in Business you use Statistics a lot, but it’s more Applied than theory. Unless you want to be an Engineer I think you’ll be fine.
