is calculus needed for the mcat?

is calculus needed for the mcat?...i know theres no specific math section but do you feel like calc helps in any form? im thinking about pushing calc back to my senior year so i can put in some other bios that i have seen recommended like physiology and genetics before i take the mcat...

Nope. (10 char)

i wish it did

^ what they said

The only thing is that at many schools, calculus or other advanced math is a prereq or co-requisite for physics courses, which are needed for the MCAT...

^ Unless you take non-calc based physics.

^ which MCAT physics is as well

Are you saying MCAT physics is calc based, or is general?

^ no it is not - you do not need to know calculus to do anything on the MCAT
