My first choices are pretty much a tie between MIT, Caltech, and Stanford…depends on fin aid.

I most likely won’t get in (MAJOR REACH)

But its only like 3 miles away from my house and has Aerospace Engineering

It also has that mysterious appeal which I don’t find at other places.

Good Luck To everyone

CalTech is my son’s #1 choice.

Other schools he has applied so far or about to apply are:

MIT
University of Chicago
HMC
Rice
WUStL
Brown
Carnegie Mellon
UW Seattle (honors)

He has maintained a good GPA (IB), scored well in SAT and has decent EC.

CalTech and HMC were the only campuses we visited. We live live in UW neighborhood.

Caltech is tied with MIT for #1.

I think though if I am lucky enough to be accepted to both, then I’d attend Caltech.

Caltech and MIT are tied for me. If a miracle happened and I’m accepted to both, I’d probably end up flipping a coin to decided :D

Its my number 4. For me, it’s MIT, Princeton/Harvard, then Caltech.

Harvey Mudd is my #1
Caltech is #2
