Is computer science courses in stony brook hard?

I currently major in computer science in university at Albany. But, I feel like the academics here aren’t great. The school is not good at my major. So, I want to transfer to stony brook. But, I worry the computer science courses in stony brook will be too hard, and I’ll fail. Anyone can give me some insight? If it’s hard, then how hard?

I’m not sure how hard, but they’re definitely hard no matter what due to Stony Brook’s academic standards. However, it’s worth it, as you will receive a better and more comprehensive CS education at SBU rather than Albany. Both my brothers attend SBU, and while they do study, they are not completely overwhelmed by the rigor, so it’s definitely manageable. If you don’t feel challenged at Albany, then SBU would definitely be a step up for you. Maybe take a look at their specific professors and transfer program to make sure it’s something you’re interested in.
