Hey everyone,
What school/major is easier to get into Georgetown University: To get into MSB under a finance major or to get into Georgetown College under an econ, statistics, or applied math major? Does the college look at the major or does it really only consider the school you apply under? Thanks!

I don’t think that your intended major makes that much of a difference. However, I do believe that the school to which you apply to makes a (slight?) difference.

Intended major is irrelevant since the schools know that this more likely than not will change once the student matriculates. Regarding relative difficulty of each school, here are the class of 2018 admission statistics: Overall: 16.6%; College: 16.4%, SFS: 17.5%; MSB 16.0%; NHS: 17.5%. So, they are all pretty much equally difficult to get into. I’d say apply to the school where you are most interested. It will show in your application.

what about the school of continuing studies
MSB. hands down
