glad you agree.

haha, hmmm there should probably be some sort of retaliation though, for this has defouled our boards. like a dog who craps on your porch, this harvard boy has stunk up this entire board. its time for revenge, my friends. some may say "turn the other cheek" but i say forget that!

Please don't encourage their immature behavior. It will just make it worse.

awwww come on, its not like they sold heroin to our children or anything. ok fine, no retaliation, since its now come to my attention that it was just one random kid who did it by himself. But still, it's not a big deal. In fact, it makes it more exciting to think about going to yale/harvard, youve got this great rivalry that results in great pranks and stuff.

I personally think the MIT pranks are the best...God, those kids are so funny.

Sure, I just don't want them flooding our boards or anything because they think they're clever.

yeah, me either

true dat. pfft, harvard. actually, to be honest, whatever, theyre both good, but as of now, im a bulldog sympathizer, but u never know, what if i get into H and not Y? then crimson here i come!......so my point is GO YALE 09

Come on guys!

We are not supposed to respond to people's ignorance. In this case, Kerron is not ignorant; he just needs a little attention. He wants to start an argue then tell his friends later about how he "defeated yalies", or he might want to get some support from Harvard kids(which is not going to happen) and tell his friends about his "Harvard union"!! Sorry Kerron, don't hate me!! I am a jerk just like you are.

By the way I applied to Harvard EA, but I am not acting like I am already accepted. Kerron, I hope you get in, but think about the chances that you might get a rejection letter. Then would you still have the same attitude?(You would probably say yes because you are acting immature right now...)
Again, don't hate me. I wish I could support you, but you don't let me to.

Siavash feels bad that he has answered to this post

geez...i don't know about the rest of you, but i'm going to be bouncing-off-the-walls happy if i get into Harvard OR Yale!!!

Anybody who gets into either of them (or any number of other schools, don't want to leave them out!!!) should be so thrilled, and then they can go boo the other at the football game. if you get into both, more power to you-then it's all a matter of preference!

and if you don't get into either, then go to any of the other amazing schools in the us (because there are definitely more than two--or eight!) and be really happy there and then when you are winning your nobel prize or whatever you can laugh about how you weren't accepted to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, etc. :)

siavash7h- Don't feel bad, you have the correct set of mind. In your maturity level on this board, Yale OR Harvard would much rather have you than Kerron.

signifyingnothing- Perfect mindset. Of course they are both great.

For all- If you get in, or at any other school, you will have four years of rivalry. For now, good nature joking is great, but realize, you may end up at the very school your were mocking (and will be just as happy).

Yale is the sexiest Ivy. By far.

Oh, and Harvard's okay, too. I'm actually not applying there myself, but yeah. Good-o. Top schools, both of them.

i feel sorry for people who post drunken ramblings redirecting their repressed sexual urges toward dissing so-called "rival" colleges. first of all--utilize the drunkeness to fulfill those sexual urges! second of all--yale and harvard are only rivals as long as we make them so. us yalies have better things to think about--as im sure most cantabs do too. why cant we all just get along?

I am amazed and know not what to say.

I can't believe I wasted my time reading this. Even sadder: I responded.

I am ashamed.

seriously, i applied early to harvard, cuz stanfords too far.
anyhow, Stanford > Harvard+Yale

goldoro99, because rivalry is fun, if you don't take it to far.

wait holdup, isnt this forum for people who are applying to college and arent in yet?

lol you'd think so, wouldn't you?

i think Yale's a much better school FOR ME, but i don't know which one's better over all - maybe it's like trying to compare apples and oranges - they both taste great, but everyone's got different cravings :)

on the other hand, though, sometimes i think of Harvard like Coca Cola and Yale like Pepsi. i'm not sure why. maybe 'cuz Harvard's "the original", the older one. or maybe it's 'cuz Yale's insecure. or maybe it's just 'cuz Yale's so much sweeter :)
what does that make Princeton anyway? Maybe more like diet Sprite - whiter, blander.
